Principal Update
As we embark on another exciting term at Mudgee Public School, I extend a warm welcome to all our parents and community members. I look forward to tomorrow, where it will be an absolute pleasure to see our school buzzing with the energy and enthusiasm of students returning for Term 2. Together, we form a vibrant and solid community dedicated to the growth and development of our wonderful students. Your continued support and involvement are invaluable in creating a nurturing environment where every child can thrive. I look forward to us working together to make this term a memorable and successful one for all our students.
This is just a very brief newsletter outlining some upcoming events. I did just want to take the time to thank all who attended the ANZAC March last week. I was so incredibly proud of our students and community, as always, particularly in the school holidays. We will complete a video update later in the week, but for now have a read below, and welcome back to Mudgee Public School for Term 2!
Kindergarten Information Evening
Just a friendly reminder, that tomorrow evening, we have our Kindergarten Information Evening. We have an insightful evening planned, tailored specifically for parents of prospective Kindergarten students for the year 2025.
Date: Tuesday 30 April Time: 5:30 PM Location: Mudgee Public School - Kindergarten Classrooms (Entry via the northern entry gate off Perry Street)
This event aims to provide you with comprehensive information regarding our transition to school programs, Mudgee Public School's unique programs and initiatives, and an exclusive insight into our Kindergarten classrooms. We understand the importance of a smooth transition into formal education for your child, and our team is dedicated to ensuring that this journey is as seamless as possible for both you and your little one.
We believe that a strong partnership between parents and the school is essential for the success of each child's educational journey. Therefore, we encourage you to attend this event to learn more about what Mudgee Public School has to offer your child.
Mother's Day Breakfast RSVP
Just a friendly reminder to please RSVP to our Mother's Day event. Parents/Carers should have received an invitation to this event at the end of last term. Similar to the Father's Day Breakfast last year, we aim to have Breakfast provided as well as some activities to complete with your children. The breakfast is free with the option of a Gold Coin Donation to our P&C. There will be a coffee van onsite on the day. We hope to see you there.

K-2 Sports Date Change
Exciting news for ALL our infants students, in Term 2 our sports day is CHANGING TO TUESDAY
This term our Year 10 friends from Mudgee High School will be joining us to teach us fundamental movement skills and activities each Tuesday from 2:10-3:00pm
Please ensure K-2 students wear their sports uniform EVERY Tuesday
