School Development Day - Munna Reserve
On Monday, our staff had a great start to their School Development Day with a visit to Munna Reserve, which is out near Carleon. We learnt about how members of our Aboriginal Community are preserving this land, sharing their knowledge with others, as well as many local stories about land, culture and history. Thanks to Mudgee AECG's Aleshia Lonsdale for leading us on this very valuable learning experience. We can’t wait for students to visit as NAIDOC Week gets closer. #healcountry

Language Conventions test (spelling, grammar and punctuation)

On Friday 14 May – a ‘catch-up’ day is scheduled for students who missed a test or were absent on a test day.
Students may be exempt from the NAPLAN test if they:

All other students are expected to participate in the tests.
Disability adjustments which reflect the student’s normal level of support in the classroom may be provided. Alternative format test materials are available to meet the needs of individual students (e.g. braille, large print, black and white test material or the electronic test). Access to disability adjustments or exemption from the tests must be discussed with the school principal and a parent or carer consent form must be signed.
